Accessibility
Effective 1 September 2026
Vision Environmental Solutions Pty Ltd (VES) is committed to making our website, information and customer-service processes accessible and usable for as many people as reasonably possible, including people with disability, older people and people using assistive technologies.
1. Our commitment
We aim to provide equal and dignified access to information about our products, services, quotations, government-program participation, contracts, complaints, cancellations, refunds and warranty support. We will not discriminate unlawfully against a person because of disability and will make reasonable adjustments where required by law.
2. Website accessibility
We aim for our website and key digital content to be designed and maintained consistently with recognised accessibility practices, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) where reasonably applicable. Accessibility is considered when we update templates, forms, navigation, colours, contrast, headings, images, links and interactive elements.
3. Measures we aim to use
- Clear headings, logical page structure and meaningful link text.
- Keyboard-accessible navigation and controls where technically practicable.
- Sufficient colour contrast and text that remains readable when enlarged.
- Alternative text for meaningful images where appropriate.
- Form labels and instructions that are understandable and associated with relevant fields.
- Error messages that explain how to correct an input where practicable.
- Captions, transcripts or text alternatives for important audio/video content where reasonably practicable.
- Documents and downloadable content prepared in accessible formats where reasonably practicable.
- Responsive layouts that work across common desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
- Avoiding unnecessary flashing, motion or interaction patterns that may create accessibility barriers.
4. Alternative formats
If you cannot access information on our website or in a document, contact us and tell us what format would assist you. Where reasonable, we can provide information in another format, explain content by telephone, provide an accessible electronic copy, or arrange another suitable communication method.
5. Customer-service adjustments
Customers may ask for reasonable adjustments when communicating with us, receiving a quotation, reviewing a contract, providing consent, arranging an installation, making a warranty claim or lodging a complaint. A Customer may use an interpreter, support person or authorised representative, subject to reasonable identity and authority verification.
6. Consent and important decisions
We do not intend accessibility needs to prevent a Customer from understanding or exercising their rights. Where a person needs assistance to understand a consent, quotation, contract, cancellation right, cooling-off notice, warranty or complaint process, we will take reasonable steps to communicate the information in an accessible manner without applying improper pressure.
7. Third-party content and systems
Our website may link to or use services provided by third parties, including government portals, finance providers, payment platforms, mapping services, manufacturers and document-signing systems. We do not control the accessibility of third-party systems, but we will provide reasonable assistance where a third-party accessibility issue affects a VES customer process.
8. Accessibility and safety
Some site-access, installation or inspection processes involve safety requirements that cannot be removed. Where an accessibility need interacts with a safety requirement, we will consider reasonable alternative arrangements that preserve safety and dignity.
9. Feedback and accessibility complaints
We welcome feedback about accessibility barriers. Please tell us the page, document, feature or customer-service process that caused difficulty and, if possible, the adjustment you need. Accessibility complaints will be handled fairly under our complaint process.
